Arch enemy of the American Republic, George III, King of Great Britain 1760-1820, whom Thomas Paine described as the "Royal Brute," featured on a facimile of the 1756 Tax Stamp. In Latin, we have "Georgius III Dei Gratia," George III by the grace of God, but instead of the usual "Britanniarum Rex Fidei Def &c" we have in plain English "LOSER." American Patriots did more than create the greatest republic that ever existed, they also threw off the yoke of servitude to hereditary monarchy. George III was a loser in the American Revolution, and we can celebrate that.
Again to quote Paine, "Of more worth is one honest man to society and in the sight of God, than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived."
